Fireworks Safety Tips
Celebrate safely with fireworks this summer.
Over the past decade, fireworks accidents have decreased even though sales have steadily increased. As the trend continues, more states are legalizing fireworks or amending their state laws to allow even more types of fireworks. Where they may have been safe n sane fireworks only, they are now allowing aerial type fireworks as well. Fireworks safety awareness is a big reason for the trends.
The National Council on Fireworks Safety is a great resource, you can find their website and more information here firework safety. And below is a list of their recommended fireworks safety tips:

Do it yourself consumer mortar rack plans.
Summer, and firework season is right around the corner. Since we expect the $0.99 cent high quality consumer fiberglass mortars back in stock soon so we thought it would be a good time to post our plans on how to build a rock solid, safe mortar rack for launching re-loadable artillery shells. While there is no substitute for proper safety distances (We recommend a minimum of 200′ from spectators to fireworks) building a safe, solid rack to launch many shells from is far superior to using the mortars that come with the kits over and over again.

New Years Eve Fireworks
Repost for the second busiest time of year for fireworks.
It’s that time of year, 99% of all firework injuries will happen in the next three weeks so we thought this would be a great time to talk about what you can do to minimize the possibility of injuries and enjoy a safe and happy independence day. First we want to state that almost ALL injuries involving fireworks, are not CAUSED by fireworks…but rather the MISUSE of fireworks! Alcohol, lack of supervision, superman syndrome and taking apart and reassembling consumer fireworks into something they were not meant to be are all reported to be involved with a very large percentage of firework related injuries. Also noted are that over 80% of injuries from misuse are caused by rockets, firecrackers and sparkler type devices. Very few injuries are caused by aerial type devices tipping and shooting into crowds, but this is one area where improvements in precautions are easily made so in this article we will focus on that.
