Spring has sprung, bring on the fireworks displays!

Soon the sun won’t be setting until 9pm, the smell of neighborhood BBQ grills will be a daily occurrence and summertime activities will be in full swing.  The first big holiday to celebrate with fireworks is only 7 weeks away, Memorial Day.  Cities and towns across the USA kick off this summer spectacular with fireworks displays for all to enjoy, but how to find them?

Giant Homemade Fireworks Wheel

Have you ever wanted to watch a huge homemade spinning wheel shoot off a massive amount of rocket fireworks?

To celebrate reaching 2 million subscribers on YouTube, DIY inventor Colin Furze crafted this intricate set up on the back of his pickup truck. The video is a flurry of bright explosions, loud music and celebrating, and comes only eight months after his 1 million subscribers celebration video where he set off 300 fireworks straight into the air from the back of his truck. In his latest video, he lights 120 rockets starting from the inside of the wheel and moving to the outside, and isn’t afraid to get close!

Incredible video of Drone flying through Fireworks!

Check out this absolutely amazing footage of a quadacopter being flown through fireworks.

I have to admit that the video is more dramatic than I expected.   It’s so beautiful and perfect that I would almost think it was CGI if I did not see the whole video. Enjoy!

The Malta International Fireworks Festival

We love our fireworks here at US Fireworks, but the people of Malta really love fireworks!   Fireworks have two historical traditions.   The Italian tradition and the Oriental Tradition.

Fireworks made in the Oriental Tradition have become the standard commercial style of fireworks because the cost to manufacturer is lower.   Therefore, the Italian style shells are very rare and seldom seen in the USA.

What makes Italian style fireworks unique is that they use cylindrical construction, rather then spherical construction.

Dogs can be fearful of fireworks and other loud noises but here are some tips to help with their anxiety.

1.) Make a party of it! Ignore any fearful behavior and do not try to comfort your pet. The animal will pick up on your anxiety and this may make the problem worse. Pampering a pet that appears frightened can reward and encourage this behavior. Instead turn it into a party and your pet will follow your lead! However, fireworks are dangerous so never let your dog get too near a lit fireworks. Keep them a safe distance at all times, as with all of your party guests.
